Elizabeth Taylor, PhD. is a leading practitioner in applied spirituality and ‘inner technology’. She is an inspiring speaker, workshop leader and educator, award-winning author and producer. Dr. Taylor’s career is built upon a foundation in consciousness studies, behavioral sciences, Jungian and depth psychology, metaphysics and spiritual traditions. An expert in non-demoninational spiritual problem-solving personal growth, parenting and youth development, her enduring passion is to render tools and services that inspire people to embrace keys to spiritual growth.
Elizabeth received her Masters and her Doctorate in the field of Human Behavior and Organizational Psychology. Her dissertation is titled: “The Experience of Intuition in Management Decision Making: A Phenomenological Inquiry and Consolidation of a Model.” She is certified in ‘Religion, Spirituality and Mental Health’’. Dr. Taylor has been a not-for-profit leader for 12 years, raising hundreds of thousands in dollars and resources. She is a former Professor and Chair of Business Management, Transformation and Integral Studies. For 17 years Elizabeth taught Doctoral, Masters and MBA classroom and online courses; and consulted to corporations in transformative leadership, research, organizational effectiveness and transition, strategic planning, diversity and human resources development, conflict management and lifelong learning. As a seminar leader, coach and dialogue specialist, Dr. Taylor works with corporate and government leaders and staff on systems change and transformation, and retooling. Her worked has impacted such entities as: A T & T, American Management Association, Chevron Corp., Lockheed, Head Start, Sun Microsoft Systems, Kaiser Permanente, Starbucks, the Commonwealth Club, the Institute for Noetic Sciences (IONS.), and state and federal government agencies.
In 1999 Dr. Taylor founded Wisdom To Go, a not-for-profit, 501 c3 organization. Wisdom To Go was established to promote media as a vehicle for human progress and evolution; and to produce ‘new media’ products, films and videos through television, the Internet and mobile technologies. Dr. Taylor’s pioneering ‘wisdom to go’ vignettes achieved national syndication on CBS and NBC stations, and satellite radio – displaying a rare ‘parlance’ for translating and ‘grounding (non-denominational) spiritual principles for practical application. She produced and hosted ‘Wisdom To Go’, a personal growth radio talk show that ran for several seasons; and she made numerous appearances on national talk shows as a youth and personal growth expert.
Dr. Taylor has generated a legacy of work and productions that address the developmental and spiritual struggles of today’s youth for radio, television, the Internet, learning forums and dialogues and publications. She is the progenitor and Executive Producer of all Wisdom To Go content. Dr. Taylor has produced numerous spiritual video tools, published articles and authored the pioneering ‘spiritual’ book for youth: “Straight Up! Teens’ Guide to Taking Charge of Their Lives”, which won the American Library Association Award.
Dr. Taylor’s work reflects extensive engagement with spiritual and indigenous cultures around the globe, diverse groups, including educators, parents, the elderly, professional associations, Headstart, high-schools, the homeless and at-risk groups. She has her finger on the pulse of today’s ‘spiritual crisis’ and is passionate in her belief that people are fully capable of meeting the issues they face, particularly when they have the appropriate awareness and tools.
